Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez took to social media and announced that their newborn son died during childbirth. The Manchester United forward stated that only the birth of the baby girl is providing him and his girlfriend with the strength "to live this moment." The couple was expecting twins. In a heartbreaking note on social media, Ronaldo said that it is the greatest pain any parent can feel. "It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you," read the long note. Following the announcement, fans flooded social media to share their condolences with the family. Pictures of the couple surfaced on the internet with Ronaldo's massive followers showcasing their love and support for the football star and his partner.
